Why is HEIC not supported?
HEIC decoding varies across browsers. The first release supports only verified JPG, PNG and WebP formats.
Is EXIF metadata preserved?
Re-encoded outputs do not retain original EXIF and other metadata. Batch compression may retain the original file and its metadata. This is not a dedicated metadata privacy tool.
