User guide
From choosing a file to getting results.
1. Find the right tool
Search by keyword or browse categories on the homepage. Search for “compress”, “PDF” or a tool name, or press / to focus the search field. Bookmark a tool using the icon on its card. Favorites are stored only in your browser.
2. Choose files and check the limits
Images support JPG, PNG and WebP. Each file can be up to 20 MB; batches allow 20 files and 100 MB in total. PDFs must be unencrypted and have no more than 500 pages. Damaged, unsupported or oversized files produce an explanation.
3. Set your goal and start processing
For size-limit compression, set the maximum KB first. JPG fills transparent areas with the selected background color. Use the arrows to reorder files for PDF merging or images-to-PDF conversion. Check settings before starting; you can cancel processing.
4. Preview and download
File tools show actual output sizes; images also show their dimensions. Preview before downloading, and download multiple outputs as a ZIP. Filenames receive a suffix without changing originals. If your browser cannot preview PDFs inline, download them to view them.
5. Understand document and data limits
Ordinary image enlargement does not create detail. Images-to-PDF conversion does not include OCR. PDF page operations may not preserve digital signatures, bookmarks, attachments or interactive forms. Keep original files and review results before submitting them.
6. Troubleshooting and recovery
If processing times out, use fewer or smaller files. Text is not saved automatically; copy or download it before refreshing. Temporary content is released when you close the page. Downloaded files remain yours to manage. Use a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
